In the latest Express Entry Draw for Canadian Immigration, a total of 3,508 candidates were invited by IRCC to apply under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category. The CRS score cut-off for the lowest candidate invited was kept at 431 points.

On 25th June 2020, IRCC held the latest Express Entry Draw for Canadian Experience Class CEC category candidates, inviting them to apply for Canada PR. A total of 3,508 applicants from the Express Entry pool were invited in this draw. The cut-off score of the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was kept as low as 431 points. This was the lowest CRS cut-off score for CEC candidates, followed by the lowest ever cut-off of 413 CRS points held by Canada on May 31, 2017.

Since the pandemic of COVID-19 has hit the entire world, IRCC has focused on inviting candidates under the Provincial Nomination Program PNP and Canadian Experience Class Candidates (CEC). This is because these candidates are more likely to already be in Canada and are less likely to be affected by the current restrictions around Covid-19. This Express Entry draw comes after the recent draw held for PNP candidates on the previous day i.e. 24th June 2020. Overall, total number of invited candidates has gone up to 3,900 candidates invited for Canada PR by IRCC within these two days.

Over the past few months, we have witnessed the CRS Cut-off scores on a decline for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.
