Express Entry Draw update: Canada holds new draw inviting PNP candidates
June 10 2020
On June 10 2020, Canada held a new express entry draw for provincial nominees, inviting these 341 candidates with PNP for application to Canada PR.
Canada Immigration authorities (IRCC) held an express entry draw for Canada PR under the express entry system on June 10, 2020. A total of 341 invitations were issued to candidates in the express entry pool with provincial nominations. The CRS cut-off score was 743 points for the lowest ranking candidate.
Ever since the pandemic of COVID-19 hit the entire nation, IRCC has been active on releasing special measures in order to curb its effects on Canada immigrants. Since March 18th, there have been seven draws held exclusively for provincial nominee program (PNP) applicants.
Under a provincial nomination program PNP, the nominated candidates receive additional 600 points under their express entry profiles. In most cases, these additional points are enough to attract an invitation during the EE draws. A lot of candidates are going for PNP programs considering the benefit of additional points offered under these nominations.
