British Columbia extends the BC PNP Tech Pilot Program

The province has extended the BC provincial nomination program PNP tech pilot until June 2021 in the time of shortage of tech skilled workers in BC
British Columbia extended the BC PNP tech pilot program to June 2021. The extension provides employers with the support and ability, to recruit international talent in the times when the local skilled workers are in shortage.
The BC provincial nomination program PNP tech pilot program is a pathway that expedites immigration for technically skilled people who are interested in Canada PR and have the intent of settling in BC. Foreign workers having job offers in any of the eligible 29 occupations in the tech pilot can benefit from the program. The conditions of the job offer include a minimum of one-year contract.
In order to apply for the BC PNP tech pilot program, the candidates must appliy directly with the BC PNP online portal and register under the skills immigration registration system - SIRS. the candidates must select skills immigration or express entry BC immigration category. The province will hold a draw and announce the minimum score at a later date. The selected candidates will be invited for the provincial nomination program. Once invited the candidates are given 30 calendar days to apply on behalf of the nomination issued.
