BC PNP latest draw invites Candidates for Canada PR

Latest draw held by British Columbia under BC PNP Tech Pilot program invited 57 candidates including foreign tech workers and international students.

On July 7, 2020, the province of British Columbia held a draw under the BC PNP inviting 57 candidates for Canadian immigration. The draw was held inviting foreign nationals under the new Tech Pilot program where foreign tech workers and international students were invited in this round.

The different categories were SI-Skilled Worker, SI-International Graduate, EEBC-Skilled Worker and EEBC-International Graduate with a minimum score of 80 points in each category, along with the consideration of the Tech Pilot. This invitation issued to the candidates will add 600 points to their express entry profile and push them towards getting an Invitation to apply (ITA) in the upcoming draws of the federal level of Express Entry program of Canada PR.

Under the Tech Pilot program of BC PNP, an applicant must be eligible under one of the 29 in-demand tech occupations in the province. Additionally, the applicant must have a valid job offer under one of the eligible occupations and the offer must be valid for at least a one year. The job offer must have a balance of 120 days left at the time of submission of the application to the PNP program.
